Brief History

A Short History of College.

Welcome to Deogarh college. The college, one of the oldest Non-Government Colleges under Sambalpur University is affiliated to C.H.S.E., Orissa & Sambalpur University. There is provision for +2 & +3 course both in Humanities & Science with Honours teaching facility in all major disciplines. The college has campus of its own & has hostel facilities. The college is to reopen after summer vacation.

The College was established in the academic session 1963-64 on the financial assistance & co-operation of the Panchayats of the locality. At first the College was affiliated to the Utkal University subsequently to the Sambalpur University from the year 1967.
